Sign Expo in the Spotlight: Our Evolution Featured by Two Industry Publications

We’re excited to share that Sign Expo was recently featured by two leading signage industry publications: SignCraft Magazine and Signs of the Times.

Both stories look at a journey that has been years in the making: how Sign Expo has evolved beyond the traditional role of a local sign shop into a full-service signage partner supporting brands across locations, markets and every stage of the signage process.

From Sign Shop to Strategic Signage Partner

In SignCraft Magazine’s “From ‘Sign Shop’ to ‘Strategic Signage Partner,’” the focus is on how a growing sign company needs to evolve beyond the craft itself.

For us, that evolution has meant thinking beyond individual products and taking a more complete approach to our clients’ signage needs — combining design, project management, fabrication, permitting and installation to help bring brands to life in physical spaces.

It’s also the thinking behind our recently redesigned website. Rather than simply listing the types of signs we make, we wanted to better showcase the projects, expertise and problem-solving behind the finished product.

From Local to National

Signs of the Times also featured Sign Expo’s growth in “How a Sign Company Evolved from Local to National.”

New York will always be home, but our work increasingly extends far beyond it. Today, we support projects and multi-location signage programs across the country while working to maintain the same attention to detail, consistency and craftsmanship at every location.

That growth has changed the scale of the projects we manage, but not the way we approach them: one team, one point of contact and one standard of craft from concept through installation.

Still Built on the Same Foundation

The most exciting part of this recognition is that the story isn’t about becoming an entirely different company.

It’s about growing into a bigger version of what Sign Expo has always been: a team of designers, fabricators, project managers and installers who care deeply about getting the details right and finding the right solution for every project.

We’re proud to see that evolution recognized by two publications that know our industry so well — and even more excited about where we go from here.
