Sign Expo Expands, Acquires 2 Additional NYC Signage Providers
Today is a big day for Sign Expo. For 34 years, we have been a small, family-owned signage shop in New York City committed to delivering an excellent quality product to our customers at a fair price. We are still family-owned, we are still headquartered in NYC, and we are still committed to excellence. But as of January 2019, we are pleased to announce that we are no longer small.
With the acquisition of two additional well-regarded signage shops, Specialty Signs and The Sign Company, Sign Expo is now able to service our clients at a scale far beyond our previous capability. We have doubled our headcount, doubled our space, and greatly added to our fleet of equipment. Beyond size and scale, we are also absorbing Specialty Signs’ and The Sign Company’s decades of experience in ADA signage and custom interior signage.
All of these changes will have a direct positive impact on how we are able to service our clients. With a larger space (within the same location at 127 West 26th Street), we now have more in-house production capabilities and can be more nimble with our process. With a larger team, we’ll now be able to provide dedicated project management and account management services in order to streamline the work and be more responsive to our customers’ needs. And with our increased breath of capabilities, we can be a one-stop-shop for many of our clients and create more simplification in what can at times be a complex business.
We are extremely excited for this new stage in our business, and for the ways in which this growth helps us service our current and future clients better than ever before. In a connected world where consumers are ever more glued to their phones, it has never been more important to have a signage partner that truly understands how to capture attention in the physical world.
