Momofuku in Hudson Yards
SignExpo is proud to work with some of NYC’s most accomplished and delicious restaurants, and Momofuku is among that list! Critically acclaimed chef David Chang first opened Momofuku Noodle bar in 2004, rapidly expanding since then to six concept restaurants in NYC and even more across the globe. Not only is each Momofuku Group restaurant unique and innovative, but the group also supports sustainable and responsible farmers and food purveyors.
Momofuku’s founder chef David Chang has been called “one of the most influential people of the 21st century” by Esquire. He counts among his successes not only a dozen acclaimed restaurants but also a New York Times bestselling cookbook, a feature on the Emmy-award winning PBS television show “The Mind of a Chef”, and a starring role in the eight-part Netflix original documentary series about food, “Ugly Delicious,” which he also created and wrote.
SignExpo installed a back and frontlit illuminated sign for Kāwi, a brand new restaurant in the Momofuku Group recently opened on March 15th in the new shopping mall of Hudson Yards. Momofuku also opened ‘Peach Mart’, a to-go concept serving kimbap, sandwiches and packaged snacks. SignExpo fabricated and installed fabricated stainless-steel letters illuminated signage with warm LED lights at this location. . The restaurant and the mart are sure to be a hit, and we wish Momofuku great success with this newest venture.
